A great article about a good friend

If you are an admirer of the tremendously difficult work of righting social wrongs, John Thompson’s story and journey ought to be an inspiration. Imprisoned on Louisiana’s death row for 18 years before eventually being exonerated, John has dedicated his life to supporting those like him who emerge from prison with $10 and a bus ticket, and minimal compensation from the state for the suffering they’ve endured. This story in the Gambit gives a sense of the great work John does at Resurrection After Exoneration. Green Coast Enterprises was proud to work with John to help get his facility on St. Bernard Avenue open, but what really makes us proud is the firm resolve and clear purpose of the man himself. Like Reuben and Will, John is an Echoing Green fellow.
