Tenants lining up for refurbished Broadmoor buildings
6 Dec 2012
Green Coast Enterprises has lined up six community-minded tenants to occupy four renovated buildings in the Broadmoor neighborhood after an $8.7 million development project.
The Community Green project has one remaining space. Green Coast, a for-profit development firm that focuses on urban renewal and ecological sustainability, is among the new tenants.
“We will put in what I like to call our world headquarters,” Green Coast President Will Bradshaw said.
The other tenants at the buildings near the intersection of Broad Street and Washington Avenue are Propeller, a social entrepreneur incubator; the Broadmoor Improvement Association; the Broadmoor Development Corp.; Laurel Street Bakery; and South Broad Community Health, a clinic that Tulane Medical School will operate.
